Is it justifiable to have my answers removed because of a cited source?

The cited source on the surface may appear to be not relevant but the various links cited in its body contain relevant information.

The only people qualified to answer that are staff. That is why we have the appeal system. If staff deny your appeal, then removal was justified. If removal wasn't justified, staff will grant your appeal and reinstate your answer.

We have only had printing gear in the last couple of hundred years or so, and since then, we have been able to reproduce anything from then on with accuracy. Anything at all before that has been hear say and the story teller would make his own changes and ad his own twist to make the story more exciting. Goliath was 6' according to one teller but the next would have made it more exciting by possibly making that 10' None of you can say this was right or that was, as history has been interfered with that much, it is mostly fiction that is slightly based on fact.

Any links you give must be highly relevant to the question. The asker should not have to read through half a book to get a little relevant information. The same goes for cited sources.

It depends - as thejanith says, it's about relevance.

It's fine if the link *specifically* provides sourcing for the answer.

If the question asks about treatment of cat fleas, a cited source should be a link to a page about treatment of cat fleas, not just to hxxp://mycatiswonderful.blogspot.com that rants on in general about how good cats are and how bad dogs are, and has a few outgoing links to other cats-are-wonderful sites that might possibly have information about cat fleas.

To the case in point, Google shows you've been linking to your own blog regardless of the specific question asked.

    Here's the guideline ...

Can I post my website, email, or personal information in my answers?

    ...

If you post your personal web site (including your MySpace page) and email in every answer whether or not they’re related to your answers, you could be in violation for solicitation or spam.

... and "-1,413 Points this week" suggests a very clear breach of it.

Only if Y!A says it is..file your appeal and find out.

Edit: You have been posting the same spam links for 5 years. It is so far beyond justifiable that I am shocked your account has not been deleted.
