Why pray to Jesus when you can pray straight to God?

Wouldn't it be better to cut out the middle-man?

Has anyone done statistical analysis on this to see if it's more effective?

<<Why pray to Jesus when you can pray straight to God?>>

Praying to Jesus IS praying straight to God.

<<Wouldn't it be better to cut out the middle-man?>>

Jesus is NOT a middle man.

    <<Has anyone done <snip> it's more effective?>>

Even if, would you believe it? Probably not, so what difference does it make?

The whole reason we were reconciled to God the Father was Jesus willingly dying in our behalf. This was a great sacrifice on "both of their parts". This led the way for us to receive everlasting life.

Jesus is the Only Begotten and First Born of all Creation...Therefore, it is proper to pray "through" Jesus name to Jehovah God. —Matthew 6:9; John 14:6.

Jesus is God. God is three parts - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit - but still all one. Saint Patrick described The Trinity as leaves on a shamrock; I often wonder if He isn't like man who was made in His image, and who is also three distinct parts: mind, body, and spirit.

Jesus is the Counselor. We are to pray to God in Jesus' name because Jesus is our Defender.

    Isaiah 9:6

6 For unto us a Child is born,

    Unto us a Son is given;

And the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called

    Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,

    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

They are only one. If you remember the holy trinity God the father God Son and God the Holy Spirit. They make a up a good spirirual combination if you will pray to each of them. besides God the Father sent His Son Jesus on earth to complete a mission for us that is salvation. It is a gift for us all.

We shouldnt be praying to Jesus anyway, we should be praying to the Almighty God Jehovah anyway. Jesus himself come through him but pray to my Father. www.jw.org

I believe God incarnated in the person of Jesus, so it's all going the same place anyway. The Lord's Prayer, which Jesus Himself taught, is a prayer directly to God-the-Father, and that one always works just fine for me.

Please read the Bible to understanding.

Jesus is the son of God. God hears you through your prayers to Jesus. Jesus came to this earth to pay for your sins, he is our bridge to God.
