I cannot view the image, however if it is small and black, it is probably just what every cat gets. It is an eye discharge I believe, and when it dries up it just does that. Just flick it off gently with your finger or wipe it away with some tissue, preferably damp as dry tissue sometimes flakes a bit without notice and will end up in the eye, thus resulting in an infection/inflammation. Hope I help!

Source(s): I have two ginger cats, who are stupid and between them have suffered many common problems including ear piercings from fighting and flea spit allergies. Lush.

I can not see the image. that being said my cat just got done having a eye infection and when it would discharge it would leave black marks. Could that be it? If so take him to the vet for medicine.
