though fifty shades feel like an extended version of mills n boons only but fifty shades was much better than any mills n boons. not for all the explicit scenes, but fifty was more witty and funny.

Depends on what you like, I guess. You like short and sweet romance, go for Mills and Boons. But if you're into vulgarity, read fifty shades.
