Best broadcaster and/or announcer in the MLB?

Just curious who you think is the best? I'd have to say Jerry and Don for the Red Sox. They are by far some of the most entertaining I have watched.

There is only one man that is the best. The master of understatement and who instinctively knows when to shut up. The incessant yakking that all the rest indulge in is foreign to him.

And of course, I mean Vince Scully.

Always tells you exactly what is going on and gives the score and the inning at least twice every inning.

He paints his word pictures with a relaxed even voice and never injects himself into the game, or pretends he knows everything.

Dodger fans all around the world adore his easy to listen to style.

Gary Cohen or Sean Casey. Both are entertaining and seem to enjoy what they're doing.

Scully is a legend who has a ton of stories and knows how to spin a yarn but his style is somewhat out-dated.

Harrelson is, without a doubt, the worst announcer in MLB, even worse than Joe Buck. Harrelson is a loudmouthed jackass who detracts from the action. Buck is just a clueless buffoon who gets by on his old man's reputation.

    Vin Scully

I was 7 years old when the Dodgers left Brooklyn for LA, and I can remember Vin Scully doing the Dodgers' World Series in 1955 and 1956 in Brooklyn. My Dad once told me he went to the Dodgers in 1949.

Over the years the only 2 who came close were Lindsey Nelson & Ralph Kiner who both did Mets games.

I am bias, but Mario Impemba, who does work for FOX Sports Detroit is an amazing announcer. The dude has a velvet voice and a knowledge for the game. The entertainment aspect of announcers is overrated. I can't stand announcers that set themselves apart from the game by being some loudmouth moron (i.e. Ken Harelson). Just shutup and announce the game, if i wanted to hear random shouts id just listen to the nearest drunk guy that happens to be watching.

Garry Cohen , Ron Darling, and Keith Hernandez for SNY broadcasting for the mets. They are a great, entertaining team, and are really the only reason watching mets games every night is somewhat tolerable

Haha I even have basically 3 yet they particular make the hater be quiet for a whilst, because they consistently get mad if i'm able to return the insult. -Oh i'm sorry, my abdomen basically occurs to be 3 dimensional. -I do extremely have abs yet my fat is keeping them from injury. -i'm fat? nicely a minimum of me and you have something in elementary. - you think of i'm fat? have you ever appeared in the mirror recently, you look like the off spring of a munchkin and a ompa lumpa.

I agree that the Bosox guys are pretty good, but I LOVE when Bob Costas does a baseball game. He's about the only guy who could get me to watch a game I didn't have a rooting interest for. He has such a "little boy" love of the game it's infectious.

Vin Scully is the Man. I am not even a Dodger fan but I like the man's voice, his rhythm and his knowledge of the game ie enormous.

The most enertaining is Hawk and Stone. They can put out more information in a game than any politician could do in a career.
