I give no-nonsense advice, and I'm sorry if it's not what you want to hear. But it's better to hear the blunt truth from a stranger than a loved one. It's good for you! And I don't like cowards who block opinions they don't like, especially on political boards. You can't learn that way.
Are the elected democrats still in 2nd grade? Singing "na na hey hey goodbye" on the floor?
It cracks me up, the immaturity of the entire party. I don't know how any self-respecting democrat (if such a thing exists) can show their face.
Why no outrage from the liberals about this? I know I'd be embarrassed as hell if Republicans acted like 13 year olds and started chanting like that ON THE FLOOR of congress.

I'm apparently heartless for thinking that the government should not provide health care for everyone, and that I don't know what it's like living paycheck to paycheck.
A single person with a roommate can live on minimum wage. It's choices people made, prioritizing what they WANT that put them in a situation they can't afford, and now anyone who doesn't think that we should all chip in to pay for their health care is selfish?
Is this what liberal "logic" is in 2017?

Yes, I understand it feels good to try and include everyone, but the simple fact is that marketplace can't work if we allow people to get insurance after they get sick. How much do you think auto insurance would cost if you only got it after a crash? Homeowners insurance if you only got it after a fire or catastrophic loss?
Everyone seems to understand this, yet when it comes to health care, they seem to have a blind spot. IT CAN'T WORK. If you want more people covered, then we need to teach personal responsibility BEFORE you get sick, AND bite the bullet when it comes to covering people who made the choice not to get coverage. It sucks. And yes, it SOUNDS mean, but it isn't. It is what will enable millions more people to afford reasonable coverage.

A day after House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was grilled by "Meet The Press" host Chuck Todd on whether her party's leadership was out of touch with the current political climate, the nearly three-decade veteran of Congress mistakenly referred to President Trump as "President Bush."
"While it's only been a couple of weeks since the inauguration, we've seen nothing that I can work with President Bush on," Pelosi said during a Monday press conference.
It appears that members standing behind Pelosi noticed the mistake but chose not to correct or interrupt her. It remains unclear, however, exactly which "President Bush" the minority leader was referring to.

Same for Clinton Reagan's success I guess broke the pattern for one term, as did Carter's failure. Nixon elected to 2 terms followed by (D) Kennedy elected to 2 terms followed by (R) Eisenhower elected twice followed by (D) This goes all the way back until there were no term limits. So is it that neither party can keep the country happy for long? Is it that once a president is elected, he has an unfair advantage toward reelection? Is it that the desire for change is stronger than the desire to stay in power, so more people are motivated to vote after 2 terms of a president they don't like from the other party? Maybe we should switch to one 6 year term. The first year is a learning curve. The last year is campaigning. Maybe the country would be better served with a different format. What do you think?
