Peanuts are too addictive?

Hello. I have a quick question. When ever I eat peanuts or peanut butter or any peanut related thing, it becomes so addicting like a drug. Even if I try a small handful, it will not work, I am not set up that way. Can I just not eat it ever? (Not allergic to peanut by the way). I grew up eating peanut butter and my taste buds has made it taste better every time I consume it and that to me can become very dangerous. The nuts and seed that I eat are cashews, pistachios, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds and soy beans (not sure if it is really a seed though). The rest of the nuts and seeds (the others that are not listed) that are not there is for the same reason as the peanut butter. Can someone tell me who is the same way without the allergy please? Really gladly appreciate the answers that are given though! :)

Update:

Also should mention that I know they are suppose to be good for you, like everyone says, it is a good and healthy fat, but for me, it is like chocolate. You could guess what would happen to the chocolate laying on the counter top. :D Same reason for peanuts especially. :)

I, myself find almost anything with nuts to be addicting. I love all nuts. I even have the same issues with cinnamon. If I start eating a certain type of nut or cinnamon if takes a long time for me to not eat it again. I think it's just appetite, and what your taste buds like to taste.
