ABS and Brake light come on after driving, pulsing pedal on hard brake even stopped?

I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado with 4x4 and the 6.0L Vortec Engine. After driving for about 5-10 minutes the ABS and Brake light come on at the exact same time and whenever i push the brakes hard I can feel the pedal pulsing. I have checked the fluid and it is at the required level. I went into get the codes scanned at a Chevy dealership and they said they think it is the EBCM (Electronic Brake Contol Module). Im not overly confident in their diagnosis as they also said one of my 4 O2 Sensors were missing yet I just checked and they are all in their respective place.

Is there anyway that I can verify or find out what could be causing this?

On another note the previous owner did put larger rims and tires, a lift, and brakes not to long before I purchased it and he stated that they came on because the computer was not programed for the larger tires yet, which im not sure that would cause a problem besides for the speedometer being off.

These trucks have a problem with the front wheel speed sensors getting rusty and sending the abs a faulty reading. There was a recall in 2005 to correct this problem. I have a 2000 Sierra that has a similar problem. Check the speed sensor electrical connections for corrosion and make sure they are tight. The bigger tires and lift may not have anything to do with your problem. As to the O2 sensor, they should be changed every 50000 miles so you may have one that is not working.

    Pulsing Brake Light

Hi so it has been messed with that is the issue here. changing things like brakes is never a simple job hence why the control unit has issues and why you have problems with the abs light and brake light.

so the best answer would be to re-instate the original brakes and rims then the module work right.

so yes the body module unit is throwing out all sorts of codes about 02 sensors. so yes they might be in place but are they any good or have they become disconnected from the main body unit module.

these are all issues due to messing with things that are not standard equipment.

so this car could turn out to be a money pit as a result of modifications the lame brain owner made to it.

Isn't the pulsing on hard braking the way it is supposed to work?

The lights coming on is a problem though.

Sounds like the dealer made the correct diagnosis.
