NEED HELP with a computer (old) and its tower. Dell computers?

So I have a old Dell desktop and tower, and i cannot open the disk tray on the tower. i press the button and i hear a clicking sound inside the tower and the tray doesnt move. i need help! The desktop and tower are from the late 90s or early 2000s.

Does anyone else have this problem? does anyone know how to fix this problem without bringing it to a shop?

    Hi Chris,

    You may follow the steps below:

    Go to Start > my computer > Right click the CD/DVD drive > select Eject and see if it works.

    If the issue persists, you may find a small hole next to the button to open drive, insert a small paper clip and it should release the tray.
