Is 1hr 25min at Chicago O'Hare enough layover?

I am traveling from Minneapolis to Stockholm with a layover at Chicago O'Hare. My layover time in Chicago is 1hr 25min, and I'm just wondering if that'll be enough time? It's kind of scaring me

As long as your flight arrives to Chicago on-time, I would believe you have enough time. Just know that Chicago's on-time performance for flights has improved a lot since they added another runway.

Check the terminals for each flight.

When we went to Italy last year we flew MSP to ORD and landed in Terminal 1 (Delta). The Alitalia flight to Rome left from Terminal 5.

We had to get off the first flight, catch the monorail, and then go back through security when we got to Terminal 5. The whole thing took about 30 minutes. As long as your flight from MSP is on time, you should be OK. But don't stop to look at the scenery.

Assuming that you are flying on the same airline, that amount of layover is more than enough time at ORD so long as your incoming flight from MSP is on time. If you are flying on different airlines or different tickets, you may wish to check and see whether you will be able to check your bags all the way to Stockholm when you check in at MSP, or whether the airlines will require you to claim your bags and re-check them.

If you are required to claim and re-check your bags, then 1 hour, 25 minutes is probably not enough time to do so, even if your first flight is on time.

It should be, Your only concern should be if there is a delay in MN.

I prefer having a 3 hour layover on any overseas flight I go on. That gives me a bit of fudge time if my flight to the international flight is delayed.
