Husband diagnosed with cerebral aneurism that hasn't ruptured. What can we expect?

My hubby's GP discovered a cerebral aneurism on an MRI. He was told he was being referred to a neurosurgeon for surgery. We haven't received a call yet for an intake appointment or surgery. What can we expect in terms of speediness, nature of surgery and the recovery time? Obviously at this point we have way more questions than answers and of course, my Hubby is quite worried.

Expect you will have to tell everyone as to what kind of lesion he had, where it was located, how difficult it is to access, and other details. Or you can just wait. There are too many questions.
