Is the Lord of the Rings with all the different races kinda like what life was like in say the Middle Ages?
I was thinking about this and maybe the Lord of the Rings is kinda accurate of what life may have been like in the middle ages or centuries and centuries ago. Before globalization, interracial marriage, and assimilation the different races must have looked even more different than they do today and had even more distinctive characteristics, more so than today kinda like it is portrayed in the movie. I could see how interracial relations would be like it is portrayed in Lord of the Rings way back then too.

Not really. The Lord of the Rings is a work of fantasy, and was never intended to portray a real life scenario of any historical setting.
Nor was it a WWII allegory. Tolkien himself explained that if it was, they'd have used the ring's powers to fight Sauron rather than destroy it.

That is about right. good analogy. Life was really harder back then. A whole different era. you could never Imogene how bad the Churches got in the winter when they had to burn fires in them for the members to stay warm, you almost choked to death.

yep, cause nobody really knows what happened during the middle ages since alot of history was burned, erased or lost

NO..... Not even close.... total fantasy........... what kind of school did you go to that you would even consider that to be possible..... you clearly have no idea of the Middle Ages... your parents and teachers have failed you...... go back and start over
