My dogs are hungry, please help.?

My dad left me home alone for a few days. A problem with my debit card took all my money (I will have it back on Monday), and we are out of dog food. What is something safe I can feed my three small dogs? It will only be until tomorrow night (they have eaten normal dry dog food up until this point).

Can I make them some white rice? What about certain types of cereals (like Rice Crispies, Honey Kix)? Maybe some hot dogs? I, as well as them, am almost out of food. Those seem to be the only logical choices (avoiding chocolaty things, other highly sweetened things, etc).

Thanks.

Don't you have a neighbor, friend's parent, etc that can loan you some money to feed yourself and the dogs until your dad gets home? Hot dogs are a terrible thing to give a dog, loaded with sugars, salt, and preservatives. Plain cooked rice and a plain boiled meat (like ground beef or cut up chicken) would be fine for a few days, but hot dogs are not.

White rice (overcooked into a mush), hot dogs, plain cerials (with water), plain bread. Apples, pears, and cheese (in small amounts). I've also used plain cooked grits with pups when I was unable to afford the soft puppy food. But grits seem to be a Southern thing. I don't know if cream of wheat is similar. I've heard of it but never had it.

All these will do for short term, just a few days. Any longer might make them sick.

Well we had an issue like this and just gave them some left over steak and boild chicken.

Boild Chiken and white rice is very filling and easy on the tummy

Cooked rice with cooked veggies and toss in some cut up hotdogs for good measure. That's what I fed my dog until i realized she was allergic. They will be fine!

You could cut up the hotdog and mix with the rice, rice is very good for dogs bowels. That

Should be a good mix with some chicken broth if you have otherwise without :)
