whats the best massage u ever had,, here or in another country.& ? type..?

My wife and I took in a hot mud bath in Calistoga, California. You get naked and sink into very hot very dense mud for a while, followed by some pretty silly trying to clean each other up. Next came a wonderful message followed by hot stones and some dark quiet time wrapped in a hot towel. Then came a long soak in a warm mineral bath, followed by a dry sauna in our room.

That was a really nice package beyond just the message. With just messages, it seems to depend more on who is doing it, than the style. Some people are clearly at lot better at it than others. After a good one, I'm so relaxed that a nap afterwards is mandatory.

I was in the Navy a long time, so I have been all over Asia, and lived in Japan. I have also gone to school for Holistic Medicine, including massage, Acupressure, and Acupuncture. I get my massages from a girl from my school. She gives great deep tissue massages. I had some great Acupressure massages in Japan. To me the massages in Thailand weren't like what you are thinking. lol. You should look into a place that offers Hydrotherapy.

For at home you could look into look into getting Dead sea salts for a good soak. DeadSeaWarehouse.com it is way better than Epsom salt. I have a hot tub with Dead sea salt in it instead of chlorine, and tables because of my work, so often the girl I went to school with (She has a yoga studio) will come by with a few other friends and we do it up.

The best ones I've had were usually at hot springs as well. I'd enjoy a good soak and then get a deep tissue massage from the resident therapist or one that was on call. I did have Watsu a few times in the hot pool as well. It took a bit to get used to at first but I felt very loosened up after the treatment.

I live in Thailand and my neighbor is a masseuse. She works as a masseuse during the day at the public hospital in town and at night she does extra work to earn money. She gives a great and professional massage including the use of heated lava rocks. Can not beat it, she comes over to our house and give us a massage and the cost is no more than $7 for an hour and a half.
