Economy 101 you need to SPEND money to get, and keep an economy going, so no it's not sick, if only big business followed his example, and INVEST in something/anything.

Because the cutbacks, and layoffs, are all because the CEO's, and Managements(big-business) have chosen to stock-pile money instead of invest it in the companies, or work-force.(has gone from 20-25%, to only 2% since 2008).

This is not a crisis because of the lack of money, it's a re-distribution of wealth.(banks have paid a record in bonus money in 2012)

Source(s): This is why you need better Unions, because the work-force can create a power-block, but you need to stand together, or the Executives will keep exploiting the work-force for every penny they can.

There should be outrage to how so much military expenditure is spent? Tens of trillions of dollars wasted on military, primarily when there is not any conflict happening. That may be a shame. Rather we combat the poor, instead of curing the poverty

What is sick about it ?

You could say that GW Bush was sick because he invaded Iraq, which didn't just cost the USA trillions of dollars, but thousands of US lives, and more than 200,000 Iraqi's as well.

Sometimes you gotta put things in perspective.

Having a president is always expensive !

I assume you think a President should not do the job he or she was elected to do, if it costs money. Diplomacy is actually a pretty important government function.

He is a liberal. He has no concept of money. I am starting to think he works for the Islamic terrorists!
