Is the water going to your outside hose different from the indoor faucet water? Is it all drinking water?

All the water comes from the same main source, But faucet water that comes from your sink is filtered differently, but none the less all water should be drinkable.
but try to stick to tap water or even buy the big water jugs.
because i know where i live in the country our water has less minerals in it then the water in the city.
so we but jugs of water and bottled water to keep up with the minerals we need.

As a kid in Florida we drank from it all the time, we just had to flush all the nasty warm hose water out first. The kitchen faucet may have a filter added to it but the water is coming from the same source. We didn't have the Brita and other filters for the drinking water faucets a little while back. No need to freak, when your hot out and want to drink :)

As long as you're not getting it from a pump installed in a nearby water source, it's exactly the same. It's all city water/out of the same well/whatever. It's not good to drink it though because of all the bugs and dirt that can get into an outside faucet. Just run it a minute before drinking. Also, drinking out of a rubber hose exposes you to more bugs and dirt, plus it tastes nasty (like rubber hose)

Its all the same water from the same source, If you drink out of the hose it may be rubber tasting and if you drink from a hose let it run a minute so the water is fresh
hope it helps

In most cases yes. It's always possible you're going to run into some crazed homeowner who's set up some kind of bizarre grey water recovery system that routes only waste water to the outside hoses, but that's pretty unlikely. It's tap water.

Could be depending on where one lives. Cleveland, Ohio used to pipe untreated lake water to homes for outdoor watering. So did other cities across the country because they were initially set up that way when developed. They all still may be doing that for all I know.
All water going into homes for bathing and cooking must be potable if supplied by a water district.

same water in most cases, except in the rare case where people have public water but still left an old well for irrigation and exterior hose bibs. If you're in a city and never had a well in the first place, then it's all the same water.

I haven't yet seen a house with a water supply that comes from two different places, though I'm sure there are rural places which have a well to use for garden watering only. If you are in a place where there are no wells, you can assume that water is water and is piped in from one source only.

same water. depends if your hose is dirty. I personaly sometimes drink from it. but bugs or dirt and stuff can get in there, but you should be fine.
