Montreal isn't trading Drewiske or Tinordi for a light hitting offensive defenseman. If anything Montreal is looking to get bigger and stronger and trading their little bit of size is not in their plans.

Not to Montreal. Look somewhere else that has a need and plenty of cap space.

The Avs, the Islanders, the Flames....not that they have space, but the Lightning could use some scoring from the back end.

Letang is a restricted free agent though...so I wouldn't expect that much in a trade. They can just float an offersheet out there and snatch him up much cheaper than that.

Psh, Kris Letang is overrated and overpaid, he gets his good stats because he plays with the two of the best players in the league. The Habs don't need Kris Letang, they have PK Subban.
