Memo to Ramon C...some of us grown-ups have jobs. With those grown-up jobs, we CAN afford to operate grown-up vehicles.
If you can't do that, that's fine. We'll judge YOU, anyway, but it's not the end of the world.
Anyway, OP, those early Tritons were bad on head gaskets and the heater core hoses that run to the firewall tend to leak as well.

Not to sound like an *******, but that sounds like a Ford to me. Check your hoses, if those are fine, check around your thermostat housing, if that is fine check your radiator, if that is fine, check where it goes into the block, if that is fine, check your head gasket area. If you don't understand anything I just said, take it to a shop and let them check for you.

Check the water pump. It maybe at the end of its projected lifespan.
