Whats up with the three points?
I don't understand this? I have answered 4 questions now, and each time it says
Whoa! you have won 3 points. However I only get 2 points. They must have taken
math at the same school I went to.
Now it says 4 points - for my question, and they took
away 5 points. I think I need to go back to bed, get up
and start all over.

Two points is the correct amount for answering questions, check the link for the break down

I've had the same. Also I keep "getting" 1 point for visiting every time I visit, but only one registers. So many glitches it's laughable. I've given up keeping track!

You must had answer a question and you logged on Y!A. BTW, who cares? as long as you got more points there is nothing to worry about.

It's been that way since the last "maintenance upgrade".
A violation is still 10 points though.
