Isnt it cool that Wendy Davis defeated the Radical Pubs?

I can't even tell you how much I admire her.

I am elated. I went to bed last night right after hearing about their 3rd and final attempt to silence her (based on the fact she was talking about sonograms which THEY made a necessary part of seeking abortions >:-( ) so I thought that I would wake up this morning to bad news, that the bill had passed. I am SO grateful that the crowd was able to help delay the vote and as far as I know, even though Dewhurst SAYS he's against women having a choice, he didn't manage to get the vote done until right after midnight, despite having an hour and a half.

I wonder if he's one of those politicians that says one thing but does another.

Just like everything else about Wendy Davis, this is a lie, too. Wendy Davis has a lot in common with Barack Obama. Both tell a lot of lies.

The Texas Republicans tried to game the system, using the letter of the law in order to move their agenda forward while ignoring the spirit of the law. Wendy Davis said "Game on!" and beat them at their own game. Davis and the crowds in the senate chamber forced the GOP leadership to do what they otherwise had no intention of doing, and that's listen to another point of view. If this bill had passed and Governor "Oops!' were to sign it, would he even acknowledge the point of view of opponents of the bill? I seriously doubt it.

I don't see it that way.

1. You'd rather women continue to use these 37 butcher shops and not upgrade?

2. She upheld the right to murder viable babies on a whim.

3. Since post 20 week abortions are rare to begin with? What kind of person says it's AOK to murder and not protect the few babies involved? I'm not sure I'd like that person.

Not like Texas was trying to force clinics to close nor not say women must bear babies past 20 weeks that will kill them in turn. Nor stopping the vast majority of abortions that do occur. It is just that babies are completely viable past the half way point. Also that women should demand the very best care. Not accepting butcher shop level clinics.

Know what the real issue is for those clinics?? The longer you wait? The MORE they can charge you! In plain words?? The bigger the baby? The more the assassin wants you to pay. To clean away the mess for you. Gee--They sure hated the idea of losing $2500 and more in one wack didn't they?

Maybe Doctor 47 needs to hang a new sign now>? Hitman Clinic. With a sign dinging off the number of women and babies butchered daily?? Ca-CHING!!!

Wendy Davis should hang her head in shame. Right after she takes off that Depends and showers. I hope she used scalding water. Rinse off the filth she brought on herself.

OK, I need to stop rant. One more, The senate voted in time. It was Dewhurst that did not sign intime. That's the dispute. WHich he accepted.
