If I Receive An Out Of Court Settlement For Personal Injury In Texas? Can Nevada CSS File Claim For Arrears ?
I was injured in a car accident and am seeing a personal injury attorney. However, I have old arrears with Nevada Child Support. I currently have been paying on the arrears monthly for 5 years . Can Nevada take an out of court one time settlement payment? Thank You.
The children I am paying on are over 21 yrs old and all arrears go to their mother.

Yes, they can take it wherever they get it. Just hand it over, be a man about it for a change. If you fail to tell them about the money, you are probably committing a crime.
What you have done is forced the taxpayers (us) to pay the money you should have been paying to support your kids. You won't get sympathy from anyone on your failure to support your children. I dont' care if it's going to their mother, she is the one who had to sacrifice because you failed to man up. And it's possible she is passing the money on to YOUR children.
