Is it just me or does it seem horribly difficult to get pregnant?

I'm TTC and I've been reading all kinds of tips and such to get pregnant.

Why does it seem so difficult?!

I know everyone is different but I swear I know tons of people who POOF, pregnant!

I'm getting so discouraged!

Anyone have any advice?

Update:

I'm 25, been TTC for just under a year.

Had a check up in January and everything was normal.

If this month doesn't work out, my husband is going to make sure he is okay in the baby making department.

I've even tracking my ovulation and fertile days since I've been TTC, my periods are always regular as well.

I am experiencing the same problem. My blood tests show that my prolactin level is slightly elevated. I was giving bromocriptine which I took for 6 months but my prolactin level is still high. Also my other hormones are imbalanced. I read somewhere that high prolactin level is a cause of infertility so I'm working on getting the level down. I'm now taking clomid which will force my body to ovulate, my GN thinks I should continue to take it even though my prolactin is high. My AF is due in the next 17 days. I'm really hoping it doesn't come.

I think the best thing for you to do is to speak with your GN. I would still be wondering if I didn't speak with mine. Good luck to you!

More info on ur history wud be nice like how lng uve been ttc were u on bc ur age. Many women are lucky and dnt need anythng but sperm and an egg and it always seems like the ones who want it more thn anythng have the hardest time. Everyones different but if uve been ttc for months with no success go to a doctor and he or she can test to check ur hormone levels or see if maybe u have polycistic ovary syndrome. Anyways i wish u the best !!!

It is for some people, they are considered infertile or sub-fertile.

You need to try for a year before you can say it is hard to get pregnant.
