When the stray i caught had kittens they opened their eyes at about 4 days old but not fully for about three or four days after. One kitten progressed a little slower than the others and still hadn't fully opened her eyes until she was about 14 or more days. kittens usually open their eyes at 5-10 days. They lose the umbilical cord at about 2-3 days.

Each kitten develops in their own time. No cat is like a cookie cutter kitten, so they will be different. They should be weaned at 6 months old and find their permanent homes at 8 weeks.
