key came off laptop keyboard?
what's the best way to put it back on? doesn't snap on. thought maybe rubber cement, but....wanna do it right. it's the "B" key. i'm using it without the key on it now, but it attracts dust, crumbs, etc....thank you.
it doesn't snap on.....just sits there, and comes off almost immediately. so i do need some kind of adhesive. one good answer was a super glue that does plastic to plastic, and i will check that out...but would really like to hear from people who've had the same problem and fixed it! thanks again.

It should snap back on. But it's a pain in the ***. Don't use rubber cement. Seriously. Use a good superglue. It will say if it bonds plastic to plastic. So read label thoroughly. But try to snap it back on. Look at the keys next to the B and see how they snap on.

do no longer glue it! it would get caught and it won't paintings properly. My maximum suitable suggestion is to work out if the substantial ingredient's back has the spring or something it somewhat is widely used as, which makes the main bypass to it somewhat is typical place once you press it. Or if the spring is caught into the keyboard. you will would desire to be waiting to place it back it the spring isn't broken. in simple terms attempt to push interior the substantial ingredient and it is going to return at the same time.
