It depends whether one has positive ego, or negative ego or alter ego. I mean it can be known by his split personality or double standards in dealing with people and handling tough situations.

THERE ARE many religions that believe in idols whether human or other along with objects, like the cross, icons , pictures:

THERE ARE POWERFUL reasons to have faith & belief in the invisible Almighty as stated:

(Romans 1:20) 20 For his INVISIBLE [qualities] are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and God ship, so that they are inexcusable;"

Moses showed how it was possible to not only have belief in the invisible God but strong faith as Iin seeing him:

(Hebrews 11:27) 27 By faith he left Egypt, but not fearing the anger of the king, for he continued steadfast as seeing the One who is INVISIBLE........ (Hebrews 11:29) 29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as on dry land, but on venturing out upon it the Egyptians were swallowed up"

Jehovah's Witnesses believe as Moses did & still do!.

The only visible Gods that I can think of are the Greek Gods of Mount Olympus who made frequent visits to the earth for various reasons including sex and gifting. The rest as far as I know take God on faith.

Deism believes God exists but is outside the universe, undetectable, and doesn't care about humans. It's not a religion per se, there aren't churches/doctrines of Deism. Or do you just mean visible to humans? In which case don't all of them think God(s) are too miraculous/powerful to be seen, understood, perceived.

Buddhism denies existence of God....... which is one of the reasons why people call it a 'philosophy' rather than a 'religion'.
