I have bulimia, but can't make my self throw up?

I have bulimia, according to my therapist, but the kind in which you binge then fast/restrict. I have tried to make my self throw up countless times but can't, I just gag and nothing comes up. Can someone please tell me how to make my self throw up so I don't need to fast? And please no lectures, I know this is a serious problem.. As I have been told. Thank you.

If you know this is a problem then why the hell are you asking people to help you continue your problem? Seriously you have a counselor for a reason now stop wasting everyone's time and start putting some effort into getting healthy instead of coming on here to ask for self-destructive stupid advice.

So you have one psychological problem and you are asking people to help you develop another?

Did you know that the stomach acid in the vomit of people that throw up frequently literally starts eating away at their esophagus, which is not protected like the lining of the stomach?

It's a good thing you can't purge. And I won't ever help you damage your health even more so.

You don't need to fast. You need to recover from your eating disorder. You are getting help, so take it. You can get your life back without killing it (as you are currently doing and trying to more so).

Please focus on recovery instead of hurting yourself. You know this a problem, so why continue it. I won't help you, for good reason.

Source(s): I suffer from an eating disorder.
