According to the Bible, disease is caused by god' using magic.

No, for a divine document, the Bible contains ZERO information the people to whom it was given did not already know. Leprosy? Kill a bird and bathe another in its blood, as opposed to pointing out the mold that would have given the people penicillin and prevented the Black Plague. Either the author of the Bible is pretty darn sick or it was written by the uneducated people that lived then.

Microorganisms specifically? No.

BUT Jewish law does include things like washing hands before eating and burying the dead well away from where people are living, practices which we now know reduce the spread of those sorts of microorganisms.

Some of those laws were effective in reducing deaths amongst Jews during the Plague. Other people had figured out these sorts of things, but that knowledge tended to get lost as their cultures changed. Because they were part of Jewish observance, we never lost them.

But if any provide not for his own, and specifically for his own house, he has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel -1 Timothy 5:8. Nice try trying to blame Christians for the problems of the black community.

The Bible taught that people who are sick are unclean, and that uncleanness is communicable by direct physical contact, or by indirect contact with things which an infected person has touched.

As you can see, the Doctrine of Quarantine was quite sophisticated for an allegedly "unscientific mythological document." The precautions taken would certainly prevent the spread of many communicable diseases.

Right up until the Nineteenth Century, Caucasian Doctors remained ignorant of the importance of Hygiene in Medical Practice, even Surgery. It was not until 1847, that a Doctor Ignaz Philipp Semmelweis raised the alarm, that Physicians were attending Pregnant women, right after performing Autopsies, WITHOUT EVEN WASHING THEIR HANDS.

This was killing lots of women with Puerperal Fevelr.

It goes without saying, that all these guilty Doctoers were all Gentiles, who would have arrogantly dismissed as "silly," and "superstition" that they were transmitting "uncleanness" from corpse to patient.

I define a "Senior" Atheist as one who possesses ADVANCED Spiritual Knowledge and Experience, whereas the "Junior" Atheists are ignorant of such, and and believe their Seniors, who lie and betray them, even with smiling faces, when they say that they have never seen evidence of Scientific Knowledge in The Bible.

If in 1,300 BC, Moses could prophesy about the cause of infection, which Western Medicine did not know nor recognize until 2,100 years LATER, would that not PROVE that The Bible contains Science Facts unknown to other Civilizations?

YOU CAN BE SURE, that those Doctors who were Jews would have implored their colleagues to wash their hands- even take a bath- between autopsies, surgeries, and maternal deliveries, and been laughed at, even censured for trying to change their all-knowing Medical Procedures!

Nope. It's is rather interesting that the Bible doesn't contain any scientific knowledge from anything that humans didn't already know 2000 years ago...
