Do you practice doing things with your "off" hand? What do you do and are your reasons?

As a lefty I do a lot with my right hand. My reasons are:

If I ever injure my good hand I won't be helpless.

It develops muscles on both sides of my body meaning less back pain.

Ergonomics. Some things are easier to reach and some tools are designed for right hand use.

Maintaining coordination and balance as I grow old.

I simply like being ambidextrous.

Some things I do with my opposite hand are painting including detailed trim, using most hand and handheld power tools, eating, writing notes to myself, using kitchen knives and utensils, household chores like lifting, cleaning, etc.

I do pretty much all the heavy lifting with my left hand, though I'm right handed. It's mainly because my grip on it is much stronger, and I seem to have better control (not in handwriting though) with it.

Somethings for example: opening bottles, scrubbing items, pounding dough, carrying multiple bags, putting on make-up, etc.

I'm a righty but I brush my teeth with my left, carry things in my left, and just do random things with it
