Poll: Christians are you happy with the way god made you?

Do you want to change yourself, do you wish he made you different.

Do you think he's intelligent and loving.

If yes then why.

FYI im an atheist and this isn't me trying to argue in some stupid way I actually want to understand this.

I am content. There is more that I might wish for, but there is also quite a bit that I could have been given that I would not want.

God made me with obstacles to overcome so that I would learn to lean on Him and walk with Him. If He had given me too much, I would not need Him and would probably have become spoiled.

So I am content with how I was made. I trust God to give me the strength to overcome my failings and He has not let me down.

    Thanks.

Yes, I think He is intelligent and loving. He has given me purpose and strength to meet that purpose. He has provided for me and forgiven me for my shortcomings. And all I had to do was ask for His help. He has not asked a price I am not willing to give and the price He asked was ultimately for my benefit.

God made me a living sentient biological organism with a free will. He gave me a brain so that if there is anything about myself that I don't like I can change. Am I overweight? I can eat less and exercise more, am I underweight? I can eat more and exercise more! Am I anxious or stressed? I can pray. Am I bored? I can do something productive. Am I sad or lonely? I can fast and petition the Lord and go to church and be with other like minded people!. Am I happy? I can rejoice and praise him. Am I addicted to something - I can choose to stop - because I have that choice because He didn't make me the way that I am, I am the way that I am because I chose to be the way that I am and if at any point I am not happy with the way that I am, then I and ONLY I have the power to change.

Now for the second part of the question - yes I believe God is loving and intelligent - not to mention wise.

Why? Because it's a matter of doctrine from the holy texts of the religion I have chosen to follow. Furthermore I believe that if you wish to follow a religion i.e. call yourself a christian, then you MUST follow all of the religion (you can't pick and choose). If you want to pick and choose what parts of a religion you like that's fine too but you just can't call yourself a christian without being a hypocrite. It's like someone who only eats meat on Saturdays trying to pass themselves off as a vegetarian.

Sure. It does have an impact on my suggestions about marriage and the whole thing else when you consider that I pay awareness to that belief system as I type opinions and values. There are a number of other things that have an effect on my pondering as good, including different religions, philosophy, psychology, and and many others. I nonetheless feel in charge for thinking each and every quandary via in my view. In frequently i am not inclined to check out and force my views on others although i'm willing to try and persuade underneath some instances. I appreciate other persons and different ways of watching at things. I'm curious what your reply would be to this question. I think this could be an exciting topic to visit about with you. It is a shame that YA does not fairly lend itself to that.

Do I wish I was more attractive? Definitely. Is it God's fault that my mom didn't have good taste in men when she was younger? I don't think so. But I am happy with the way he made me on the "inside". I like that I have common sense and intelligence. I like that I don't go off spouting Bible verses every time someone asks me a question. I like that I am not fanatical. God is intelligent, yes. If he wanted us to be under his rule then he would have stopped Eve from being a stupid..woman. He was fair in that he still allows us to make our own choices. God is loving. If he hated us then we would all either cease to exist or be burning in hell right now. God loves all of us, but we have the choice of loving him back and aren't forced.

I'm just glad God made me. I'm relatively healthy and was average in the looks department but as I now head for my seventh decade, those looks are crumpling, daily! There's nothing like facing the prospect of your own mortality to think sensibly about life and how many blessings one actually has.

God, in his wisdom, spared me from either poverty or wealth and gave me a family. But even better, he brought me to spiritual life some 30+ years ago, and then I began to live for God and that changed everything for the better. I slowly began to change. I'm still a work in progress, mind you! But God is patient and is using my life's experiences to teach me many lessons and to help me lose my selfishness.

I am being transformed. This is the ministry of the Holy Spirit -

"How much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness. For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!..

"Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with every-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." (2 Corinthians 3:7-18)

Reality is simple. I am the product of the merging of a viable sperm cell from my father activating an egg cell from my mother. This is basic biology. The physical problems I have to deal with or cope with are mine alone as the being who and what I am. My biological parents can trace the flaws they dealt with back through the generations to what happened some 6,000 years ago when the rebellion in Eden took place. The flaws in my parents makeup produced the creature that is uniquely me.

If you have ever taken the time to really dig deeply into the Bible, following the course of action outlined in Proverbs chapter 2, then you have found the answers to many questions the ones who do not dig can never find answers to. Such as; Did God cause all the problems we face? Why do we grow old and die? What would have happened if the rebellion in Eden had never taken place? Who really is Satan the Devil? Does God care? Was Adam set up to fail? Is the Bible really the word of God? And there are many more.

The answers to those questions are there in the Bible.

Your questions can be answered truthfully and logically. Does that mean you will be forced to accept those answers? Obviously not. Why not? Because each individual human was designed as a free moral agent, able to determine for themselves their course in life. Of course decisions make for consequences. As a free moral agent, we should be prepared to accept consequences for our own personal decisions.

How can we gain those answers? Strangely enough the key is contained in a question posed by a man in the Bible. It can be found in your own Bible at Acts 8:30, 31. "......Philip.... heard him reading aloud Isaiah the prophet, and he said: “Do you actually know what you are reading?” 31 He said: “Really, how could I ever do so, unless someone guided me?”

Notice the need of a "guide". So if you are truthful in seeking answers to the questions you ask a guide can and will be provided. Just ask as the man who made the guide comment asked Philip. Who should you ask? Why is that question important? Because, as the Bible tells us, 'many deceivers have gone forth into the world'. So how can a person learn and be able to honestly believe what he learns from another imperfect person?

Think about this. If a person gives you honest candid answers to 99 questions in a row why would you refuse to accept the 100th answer? So now you have to ask yourself a question. Can I depend on myself to be honest with myself and accept logical proven answers even though the answers may not agree with my own preconceived ideas? If you can be an objective researcher, I invite you to actually take the next step and ask for a guide.

You really need to investigate this site. Everything you will find there should cause you to ask more questions and demand answers that work or are logical

    God created Adam and Eve..

After that we are begotton.. not created.

God didnt create us.. we are begotton of our parents... our looks are to do with genes and other things... our personalities also...

which have come down from thousands of years of polluting this world in many ways...physically and mentally.

Is God intelligent? well YHVH got the elohim to create the heavens and earth and all on it thousands of years ago.. these things.. earth planets.. moons stars... all work by intelligence.not chance or they would all fall out of the galaxy.. Weather systems cycles etc...all intellgence or otherwise it wouldnt even itself up with rain and drought and would have long ago died out.,.. moons controlling tides etc... intelligent design..not chance

human bodies and how they work..the genetics...circulatory system, nerve system etc etc etc etc..brain and all organs..all clearly show intelligence..not chance..

its a no brainer... things just can't exist without intelligence..then now or future.. to believe otherwise is to say everything is without intelligence...even mankind.. its a theory that matches no other in absurdness.

Christians, like the other Middle Eastern cults, do not practice* they were created. They have freewill. Thus they must have been derived from an innocent pool of ignorance so that they will not be under the auspices of an All-Knowing God.

*As often they do, do not confuse "practice" with "belief:" both are mutually exclusive of each other in Middle Eastern cults.
