do you think i have signs of arthritis?

Hi!

I have abit of an ongoing problem. I wouldn't sat its bad enough to go to the doctors about because usually if i have to go for another reason, i forget about it as it does not really affect my day to day life.

My right wrist and thumb joint cause me extreme pain when i go in the sea. Especially in the winter. I surf quite alot when im home and find that the problem arises usually after around 20 to 30 minutes in the water. It LITERALLY feels like they are broken, to the point where i have to leave it limp for about 15minutes until it starts to warm up again. The pain is breath taking.

Im backpacking in Aus at the moment and working on bananas, (incredibly boring) but you have to measure them by stretching out your thumb and fore finger. I have found after 30 mins of doing this the pain had returned in my thumb..

I know this is a long story :D .. and am starting to get concerned now, so i WILL visit the docs at some point soon, but just wanted to know anyone else s opinion on this subject.

Thanks!!

It could be some arthritis, yes, but also If you write a lot in the computer and or smartphone you can be developing carpal tunnel syndrome. Is worth the while to see a doctor, a good one. BTW, that detail of your pain getting worse near the sea is a classical symptom for an homeopathic remedy, Natrum Muriaticum, and taking it could be quite effective for you, so, if you can consult an homepath practitioner is also worth to try (big advantage with home-opathy is that if it does not work for you it won't harm you at all anyway).
