Can you check a piece of luggage as a replacement for baby equipment on Ryan air?
I’m flying with my baby soon and am aware that you get two free pieces of baby equipment to put in the hold. Do you know if I could swap one of these pieces for a bag instead of say.. a car seat?

2 AnswersSydney7 years agodo you think i have signs of arthritis?
Hi!
I have abit of an ongoing problem. I wouldn't sat its bad enough to go to the doctors about because usually if i have to go for another reason, i forget about it as it does not really affect my day to day life.
My right wrist and thumb joint cause me extreme pain when i go in the sea. Especially in the winter. I surf quite alot when im home and find that the problem arises usually after around 20 to 30 minutes in the water. It LITERALLY feels like they are broken, to the point where i have to leave it limp for about 15minutes until it starts to warm up again. The pain is breath taking.
Im backpacking in Aus at the moment and working on bananas, (incredibly boring) but you have to measure them by stretching out your thumb and fore finger. I have found after 30 mins of doing this the pain had returned in my thumb..
I know this is a long story :D .. and am starting to get concerned now, so i WILL visit the docs at some point soon, but just wanted to know anyone else s opinion on this subject.
Thanks!!

2 AnswersRail1 decade agois there any buttons on laptops to make wifi signal stronger?
ive recently bought a laptop from comet, i had a massive problem with it freezing.. no signal from my router unless it was sitting next to it, a bluetooth button but no bluetooth, and a the scroll button on the side of the touch pad is not that sensitive. i went back to get it either swapped or my money back. they said they couldnt get me my money back unless they tested it proppley.... there had been so many problems from the onset that i just wanted to swap it. anyway aftera non responsive talk to the guy, i agreed to let him test it. He said the internet connection was fine, and he did a factory restore to even out any glitches. ive sinse taken it home... most of the problems have been sorted but it still the internet only works when it is sitting next to the router. im so angry as £500 dosnt come easy and despratley need to internet to connect propley.... and no its not a problem with my internet as we have 2 comps running off it with no problem at all

2 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agocan scoliosis get worse once past 20years?
i discovered i had scoliosis when i was about 16t, the doctors said it was borderline thinking about treatment or leaving it as it is as didn't really cause any discomfort. im 25 now and think over the last year its gotten progressively worse. i get quite alot of pain/grinding/clicking on my left hand side between shoulder blades in my neck. ESPECIALLY when i walk for prolonged periods of time or carrying something... so can it get worse after about 20 years of age?. i have heard that it dosnt really affect older people that much once you have had a last growth spurt.. im slightly scared now its going to get worse as my huband, who looked at it proply the other day says its possibly, slightly more noticeable than b4

1 AnswerFacebook1 decade agooxytetracycline.. is it the answer to my skin problem?
im 25 and have had moderate acne since i was around 13 (nice!), i have tried numerous creams gels and facewash's prescribed to me by my doctor over the years.... but to no avail so i thought id just have to 'deal with it'
from the age of about 18 ive started developing abscesses, usually around every other month one would crop up behind my ear or on my cheek..etc and has since left scarring, only 4 months ago after finally breaking down and crying in the GP's office after having to get her to lance it... shes checked my blood levels (but were fine) and put me on a course of oxytetracycline for 6 months... its been 3 months and if anything the oil on my face has got worse and another absess has appeared
would anyone on here have any advice about what i should do next. the doctors in my area are famous for not really giving a s@#t and she seems to not really want to refer me to a dermatologist...
im abit confused as to what the next step would be as when my face does flare up the pain is so intense i literally cant sleep or anything

ive heard many diifrent stories about the prices of jabs on the nhs. so i went on the nhs direct website and it says
'' hep a+b....tetnus....(and a few others) maybe free on the nhs but it depends on the practise you go to''
what the hell?.. surely prices cant 'vairy'. nhs is the nhs. should be the same for everyone no matter which 'surgery' you go to

1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate1 decade agohelp with thai visa?
My husband and I have recently purchased a 'Round the World' ticket and our first stop is Bangkok .
We are planning to stay for a month or so in Thailand and then travel down through malaysia to catch our next flight out of Singapore .
Was wondering which type of visas we need to get, as on the Thai 30 day holiday visa you need proof of flying out of THAILAND ... of which we are not doing!
I have just wrote to the Thai consulate about the matter and they wrote back imediatley with 'Most likely you need to get the tourist visas single entry'
Most likely is not really doing it for me to be honest.... i need to know DEFINATELY... i cant get a straight answer out of the consulate so i thought you guys could help!!
4 AnswersThailand1 decade agohow to find decent hostels in thailand?
im going on a rtw trip pretty soon and wanted to know the best advise for staying as far away from bedbug infested flea pits as i can

5 AnswersThailand1 decade agoconfusion about thai visas. transit or holiday?
ive just bought and paid for my first rtw trip.... ;-)
after searching through which visas i have to get, i found the thai one abit confusing.
many websites say that i can just get a 30 day visa stamp (free) and all i have to do is catch the flight, fill in forms on plane and bring a couple of passport photos of myself.........
another website says that you have to have proof of travel out of thailand eg, flight booked out so they definatley know your gonna leave.
my problem is that im planning on traveling thru thailand and flying out of singapore. Obviously this is possible as many people do it, but i dont want to get on a plane to bangkok and be refused entry as i havent got a flight leaving the country and the wrong kind of visa
if anyone could help id be very.v.v gratefull
cheers
