Do you support the 2nd Amendment, and oppose all gun regulation.?

And can you recite the 2nd amendment from memory? (no fair Googling it)

Update:

Hint; The 2nd amendment is the shortest and most concise element of the Bill of Rights, Just a single 27 word sentence.

Yes, No, Yes. I can't quote the Supreme Court ruling on Heller, but you might want to look it up.

It is not logically possible to "support the 2nd Amendment, and oppose all gun regulation", since the 2nd Amendment AS WRITTEN includes a requirement that gun ownership be "regulated"....heve you ever READ it?

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Please do explain to us HOW something can be "well regulated" WITHOUT ANY REGULATION????

You sound very much like one of those Americans who imagines they are a "bible-believing Christian" yet who cherry-picks those parts of the Bible they already LIKE and ignores the rest!

(You don't SEEM stupid....your "27 word sentence" comment makes clear that you ACKNOWLEDGE THE EXISTENCE of the words "well regulated", LOL!)

If you "oppose all gun regulation" it is your ABSOLUTE RIGHT to hold that opinion....but PLEASE do not try to pretend you are basing your position on the US Constitution, because CLEARLY that's just a flat-out lie!

Yes, I support the 2nd amendment.

I believe in sensible regulations on guns, just as we have sensible regulations on speech (can't shout 'fire' in a crowded theater, can't threaten the life of the President, etc.) and assembly (can't wander right into someone's house or hold a political rally on the freeway), etc.

I'd love to be able to quote the whole Constitution and Bill of Rights from memory, but I cannot.

  • I support the right to bear arms. I support gun regulation. If everyone in the country were a sane, honest and reasonable person, then I might support the 2nd Amendment as written.

do you know what "infringe" means

Can I as the government tax guns making them more expensive to buy and that not be considered an infringement

Can I as the government have a "Must service first" Contracts with gun and ammunition manufactures limiting the availability to guns and ammunition and not have that action be considered an infringement

Can the State say where and when you can bear arms and that not be considered an Infringement

Can the government say what "Arms" I may own limiting my choices and that action not be considered an infringement
