I really can't stop hiccuping?

For the past eight hours, I have been having long hiccuping spells. They will start every couple of hours and last from 30 minutes, up to an hour. I will hiccup so long, and they are so hard- I will start having chest pains, and I start to feel winded.

This is really odd, and I have never had this problem- I understand that everyone hiccups, but this is a little excessive. Is there anyone who has had this experience, if so- what did you do to subside these hiccups? Is this something that I should seek medical attention about? Any advice or suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks!

Drink tons of water , if they still don't go away see a doctor or the E.R. Quick . Long Hiccups can be signs of different things .

you must hop on one leg 40 times only going clockwise then reverse and do it 20 times. wave your hands in the air while jumping in a circle. cough 5 times fast. then bounce up and down 7 times. after this is done do a handstand (so the hiccups change direction) *caution you may fart. sit up sip some water. then shake your head vigurously and finally go see the doctor cause dude that aint normal.

Wait a day and if it doesn't stop, go to the doctors..
