Think about the way conservatives keep posting here at this site that Obama is not black. What they are trying to do, as far as I can tell, is dig at people who like the fact that Obama is the first black president. The common right wing taunt here, almost any given day, is "He isn't really black."

I think the same sort of thing is at work here. Zimmerman's race doesn't matter. It's a troll looking for fresh taunts and fresh controversy. Flame wars, same old same old.

You can't be "half latino". Latino is not a race. Depending on the country, hispanic/latino people are a mix of white, black, and Native American, or one or two of each.

Latino is an ethnicity not a race.

Who cares what ethnic groups he wants to assert himself into. The man has resisted arrest from a police officer; yet thinks a young teenager should obey his wishes. Perhaps his racist antics failed to remind him that slavery and Jim Crow no longer exist; including in Florida known for their "Rosewood" murderous sanctions.
