What would you honestly do if someone you didn't know was following you?

1. Call the police

2. Go to a neighbors house, then call the police

3. Go home, lock the doors, and inform your family of whats happening

4. Yell for help, or scream and draw attention to yourself

5. Call your parents who are just seconds away.

6. Look for help

7. Call your friend who lives hundreds of miles away who cant help you at all, then tell your friend a "Crazy *** craka" is following you, then confront and assault the person.

Update:

What I would do is immediately call 911, then go to a neighbors house (even if I didn't know them) and yell for help right outside their door. Cause with me calling 911, and the neighbor is going to hear the screams/yells and call 911 as well... which would get the police their even faster with 2 calls from the same area reporting the whole thing.

When it happened to me there wasn't much I could do. He had a gun which he pointed at my head. He robbed me, raped me and took my car to make his getaway. Was there anything else you wanted to know?

    1. No cell phone

    2. Not in my neighborhood

    3. Not in my neighborhood

    4. Gun to my head--no screaming

    5. No parents nearby

    6. Gun to my head-no help

    7. No cell phone

In a real situation you have absolutely no idea what you would do. I guarantee your thought processes would shut down just long enough to immobilize you. Your ideas seem perfectly logical, but that is before the unthinkable starts to happen. I'm telling you from EXPERIENCE your logic is the first thing to go.

I would ring someones door bell or hide near a house so they could hear me if I yelled for help if I were found. However I doubt ringing a door bell or calling 911 would be a good alternative for a black teen in neighborhood that was in the middle of a crime wave. he would likely end up arrested and have to call his father to come rescue him from the police. Zimmerman would not be the only person who thought he looked suspicious. I think the time line indicates that he chose to hide and Zimmerman either found him or Trayvon thought he did.

1-6 would be applicable, 7 is just insane. Innocence proven beyond a reasonable

doubt. That is all anyone needs to understand, No matter what the alleged president

    of this country rants about.

The key word in your question is honesty and that is what is not known what was T.Ms intention when peering in windows in a neighborhood that was the victim of multiple break ins recently So let's rephrase your question What would you do if you as a member of a neighborhood watch saw someone stalking in an unlighted area of your neighborhood and peering in through your neighbors windows keeping in mind that GZ lived in that neighborhood and TM had no Business looking in your neighbors windows and when confronted attacked you and broke your nose and tried to smash your head in on the concrete

    That actually happened once as I was walking my dog. She'd just done her business and I was carrying a plastic bag. As the person got closer, I just opened the bag and started bragging on my dog;

"Bear! You made a wonderful but SMELLY poopie, there!

"I'll bet you feel better! Do you, Honey? Do you?!"

Almost immediately, the footsteps that had been getting ever closer & slightly louder began to trail off, getting quieter and more distant.

Liberals have used the more emotionally-charged "stalking" to describe Zimmerman's pursuit.

What they're too stupid to understand is that "stalking" usually requires stealth and the lack of knowledge that one is being followed.

That aside, I'm not sure what I would do. Every situation is different. Day/night, busy/deserted.

Were it nighttime and deserted, I would run as fast as I could to any source of light or populace. I would yell and call 911 immediately.

7 It proves Traven thought a crazy queer was following him. In a State were the underpass's are full of them day and night. And has more perverts per mile than any other State. Went in to avoid mode and only became defensive when approached by Z. Who was a childmolester by the way at a early age.

I've brought this up before... I'd whip out my cell phone and start to record Zimmerman. Certainly I don't see how Zimmerman could mind if he's on the up and up and it's a far better choice than attacking someone before you know their intentions. If Martin had used the slightest bit of discretion none of this would now be happening. And for Martin's parents to say "this woulnd't have happened if he was white" is the height of racist hubris.

I would stop in my tracks and stand there, I would see if this guy approaches me, and if he did, my actions would be based on his. If he walked up cussing me or gets in my face, or puts his hands on me, I would react.

What Trayvon did, was go into hiding and waited for Zimmerman to get off the phone, at this point, he already had an @ss beating in mind. He came out of hiding and approached Zimmerman and then sucker punched him. Then mounted him and began his ground and pound. And when Zimmerman began to scream in pain for help, this only enraged Trayvon more.
