When I go to my profile page I see -

when I look at a question I have to wait 30, 40, 50 seconds for the Thanks for visiting! message to disapear.

It is just the most recent in a long line of glitches. It will disappear eventually. You can try signing out, clearing cache, cookies and temporary files and restarting. That may clear it out for you. If not, you will simply have to wait it out.
