    Knew It!

Your work is so witty and sometimes - equally- edgy

that I think an `Approach With Awareness` ought precede each posting.

This haiku is not an exception.

    9 (Ouch!).

I will desist from a comment *peers peripherally over shoulder* but that

    it touches a part of one which other (- - - - - - - ) can never even envision as existent! :)

    *frowns* I didn`t know it`s a tree!

I see NOW, how this sheds - Beauty..compliments.

    9.5 minus (Ouch!) .

    Willow,, dear, is sound asleep.

You need some smelling salts to weep,

or chop an onion into chunks.

White willow bark helps hungover drunks.

Or a nip of the hair of the cur

    A friend is needed

A caress with soft lamb's ear

    On a burning cheek

Source(s): sorry---terrible attempt to partner with your magnificent haiku.

    Gems

Prize Haiku you woman of the world. Hey, can I borrow

your avatar the next time I do a Haiku? I swear !

You have set up the juxtaposition on Lines one and three,

and your kireji, your cutting word which helps bring the

juxtapose together, is definitely on line two.

    Bravo missy
