Does anyone TRULY deserve an eternity in hell?

500 billion years of unimaginable torture, worse than anything the human mind can comprehend? That's the beginning. That's not even a tiny fraction of what you will experience. Is there anyone who REALLY deserves this?

Update:

Alright, that's hyperbole. Still, eternal torture.

A parent making such threats to their children would be accused of abuse.

It's using fear tactics to conform.

"unimaginable torture, worse than anything the human mind can comprehend"

Well, that is mostly hyperbole preached in church as scare-tactics. The Bible says none of that.

That's not to say that it won't suck.

God is deserving of our love when we turn away from God in which we harm ourselves and others in which there is no remorse for the things which were done God can not forgive them because they are unwilling to seek the forgiveness of themselves and others. As Jesus had stated those who do not have Him inside of themselves are already dead. God does not make the choices which people make for themselves therefore the only ones that are responsible for their choices they make in this life are themselves. Those who prefer the darkness over the light dwell within the darkness and it consumes them. Hell is for the unrepented sinners the unclean spirits of man and demons what keeps them in Hell is their unwillingness to repent for their sins. In fact these unclean spirits blame God where they are at they don't want to take any responsibility for their actions.

Let the dead bury the dead.

God is Holy, Righteous, Just, Pure, and Perfect. Man in his sinful state cannot be any where near the presence of God with out dying. One sin alone keeps man from God, since God is eternal the separation will be eternal. Man will be tormented not tortured by the Word of God by remembering rejecting God and will be forever with out His light and goodness.

God himself certainly does *NOT* feel that they do, nor do I . . .

For anyone to be able to suffer for eternity they would certainly require having a future, wouldn't they?

However, God's Word makes it *very* clear that they have *LOST* any hope of a future.

God will *NOT* waste his precious energies keeping them alive, for ANY reason.

He gave us all our very lives & existence, and,

he permanently *takes away* the life & existence of those who choose to be incorrigibly wicked . . .

"For evildoers themselves WILL BE *CUT OFF.*

And just a little while longer, and the wicked one WILL BE *NO MORE;*

And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he WILL *NOT* BE."---Psalm 37:9a, 10

Death is the *COMPLETE CESSATION* of life . . .

NOT a continuation of it in some other realm of existence:

". . . You will . . . return to the GROUND, for out of it you were taken.

For dust you are and *TO DUST* you will return.”---Genesis 3:19

"For the wicked themselves WILL *PERISH,*

    And the enemies of Jehovah will be like the preciousness of pastures [manure];

They MUST COME to their *END*. . . ."---PSALM 37:20

"These...will undergo the judicial punishment of EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION."---2 Th 1:9a

"The **FUTURE** of wicked people WILL INDEED be *CUT OFF*."---Psalm 37:38b

The wicked will simply never be resurrected / recreated.

Only those in the memorial tombs --God's memory-- will he recreate in the resurrection of "both the righteous, &, the unrighteous" (ones who did **not** knowingly & willfully reject the God's will for them).

You know very well that this is a outdated dogma. No one deserve that. But every action has a reaction and leaders and presidents who are guilty in millions of death and sufferings should not expect anything from death.

No, we don't. The only people who do are the seriously screwed up, like serial killers and rapists.

Humans make mistakes, it's in our nature. You can't punish people for things that are in their nature, that's like sending a handicapped person to Hell because they can't confess their sins.

It's not my fault I was born.

Hitler? Stalin? maybe. But me for the heinous crime of being skeptical? I imagine a god that would torture me and John Lennon for eternity would not be reliable when it comes to "reward" either.

The only people who deserve this are those who take glee at the thought of others having to suffer it.

we are all born into this world dead in our sins (romans 5:12) when anyone come to God in prayer through faith in Jesus we are made alive together with Christ alive spiritually this is what salvation is all about if we refuse then we just remain dead in our sins forever and will be cast into the lake of fire that burns forever. this is our only option.
