An x-ray of my chest, indicates I have a shadow over my heart. What would that indicate health-wise?
I had to have the x-ray because of a cough which persisted many weeks. My lungs have been declared CLEAR!

if the shadow is significant, your doctor might had adised about it by now its insignificant so he left it out... any way wait for some time and get tested again if the shadow persists or increases or thickens consult your doctor..... its good your lungs are declared cean

My cousin had this. By the time of the second Xray it had gone. Hopefully yours will have as well.
Could be fluid.

This is quite common and it usually turns out to be nothing. However, it could be something more sinister such as cancer or increased fat around the heart.
