How do I get rid of "conduit?"?

It somehow has taken over my computer browsers, eliminating Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Now every time I click on any of those the conduit thing comes up. Before today I had instant access to MSN, Google, Mozilla, but now regardless of which I click on the "conduit" comes up.

It sounds like you have some nasty malware on your machine.

This is what I do when people bring me their computers to fix. Use another computer and download MALWAREBYTES from their website. There is a paid and free version. Get the free version, it works just fine. Put the installer you just downloaded onto a flash drive.

Now plug the flash drive into the affected computer and launch the installer. In a few minutes malwarebytes will be installed and you can run it to scan your computer for malicious software.

When it is done scanning, remove all the items it has flagged as dangerous and restart your computer.

Its a good idea to run an antivirus check with Malwarebytes. That best done after you uninstall conduit search Windows \ control panel \ add remove programs.

Also download and run a program called roadkill from Bleeping computer before you do the scan.
