Other ways to kill bugs?

I am writing a short story. What are ways that a bug can be killed by a human in a casual or accidental manner?

So far I have:

insecticide, step on it, roach motel, bug zapper, flush down toilet, vacuum cleaner, hit on windshield, wasp trap.

What other ways are there?

    bleach, hot water, vinegar, baking soda, dish soap, car oil
