JW's: What does the NWT say at these places?
[Matthew 3:12][Matthew 5:22][Matthew 8:11-12][Matthew 10:28][Matthew 13:30][Matthew 13:38-42][Matthew 13:49-50][Matthew 18:8-9][Matthew 22:13][Matthew 25:28-30][Matthew 25:41][Matthew 25:46][Mark 9:43-48][Luke 3:17][Luke 16:23-28][Acts 2:24][2 Thessalonians 1:8-9][James 3:6][Jude 1:23][Revelation 1:18].[Revelation 9:1-2][Revelation 14:10-11][Revelation 19:20][Revelation 20:15]
This list is not exhaustive.
All these passages teach a literal hell, a place described with such words as everlasting burnings, everlasting fire, torments, wailing, gnashing of teeth, etc.
Isn't it true that you guys don't believe in an eternal hell?
Are all these verses changed or omitted in the NWT?
Smiling Don,...all that text and you still didn't answer the question. Give me a straight answer, not a politician's answer. May I suggest that you either edit or delete your answer, because all it does is preach what you believe without addressing the question at hand.
Witness,...you also are giving me a politician's answer. As I already stated, I'm speaking specifically about words and phrases such as furnace, fire, torments, everlasting fire, etc. Is there no JW on here that can give me a straight answer?

Matthew 3:12 (NASB) and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” (unextinguished fire)
NWT "but the chaff he will burn up with fire that cannot be put out.”
[Please note in this verse the chaff (the wicked) are burned up totally destroyed, with fire that doesn't can't be burned up. No where in this verse does the chaff remain forever)
Matthew 5:12 (NASB) ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. (Strong's G1067 - geenna This was originally the valley of Hinnom, south of Jerusalem, where the filth and dead animals of the city were cast out and burned; a fit symbol of the wicked and their future destruction.)
NWT: ‘You despicable fool!’ will be liable to the fiery Ge‧hen′na.
[Please note "Gehenna" is a place of destruction and not torment]
Thus the first two verses disprove the very point you are trying to prove. If you continue an honest humble search you will find the Witnesses teach the truth about God's punishment of the wicked.

You need to go get a Bible a check the last 5 or so verses of the book of the prophet Isaiah. It plainly says that "where the worm dyeth not and the fire is not quenched" is a place for CARCASSES, not 3,000-year-old-pagan-fairy-tale "immortal souls."
Read carefully. He says that those experiencing "weeping and "gnashing of teeth" are cast, not into "hell", but simply into "the darkness outside." Check Revelation more carefully and you may notice that hell IS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE, so it obviously can't BE the lake of fire, can it? In Revelation 20:13, notice that death is cast into the lake of fire, then, 4 verses later, it says that "death will be no more." Do you believe that? Death is cast into the lake of fire, then it will be, not tormented, but "no more." Please check Revelation 17 and you may see that everything, or nearly so, in Revelation is symbolic. the lake of fire is specifically said to be symbolic, meaning "the second death."
Please check 1 John 4:8 for the reason that eternal torture is, not only unscriptural, but illogical.

Revelation is symbolic. Or do you also believe in 2 headed beasts and harlots that are so big that they sit on the entire earth drinking the blood of the holy ones?
The other scriptures do mention hell but the Hebrew and Greek words used are also translated as 'pit' & 'grave'. Clearly, when it mentions hell in the bible it means the grave of mankind. Jesus went to hell and he wasn't evil was he? He did die though & went to his grave
