Hurt my arm in basketball, got elbowed?

So I play in a summer basketball league. Some larger kid ran past me and elbowed me hard in the arm (in between the shoulder and elbow). I was immediately sore, and the feeling stayed for about 36 hours. I noticed discomfort especially when flexing my muscles, clapping, and carrying laundry. It's now been about two weeks, and day to day it's fine, but I've noticed that the day after I work out, the soreness returns- it's not intense by any means, but definitely present.

Any tips guys? Comments? Thanks!

I'll check back in the morning to answer any clarifying questions you have.

You should take rest after the workouts for a few days. It could be due to injury to the muscle in your arm and you need to give it time to heal.
