Why do people like Happy Tree Friends?

It's bloodily funny.

You don't find it interesting because it's not your thing.

I like the show though.

The reason why I watch it because

1. It's quite interesting to find out how they get killed.

2. The stupidity behind it is quite funny.

3. The show was created for kids who loved violence so.... don't be so surprised.

4. The reason why you find it gruesome and unfunny is because you haven't seen the worst horrors of someone in your life. I have seen a lot of stuff that would be quite traumatic to me, so I find show to be on a sub-par level on what I have seen.

5. Cute animals dying you say? So are you saying the cows we eat and the pigs we kill aren't cute?

6. Humor can be defined in many ways. There is no universal definition of humor, therefore yes, anything can be considered humor, I can laugh at a random blank sheet of paper if I wanted to and call it humorous.

7. If you do not find the stupidity in this show funny, then you probably have met many smart people in the world. I am not so lucky, thus I laugh I stupidity.

8. The world is indeed a sad place we live in. But that's not because of this show. I find it sad because people are ignorant.

9. Many people find Happy Tree Friends to be quite productive. People find shows like Grass Grow to be too boring for them. For example, I find talk shows to be boring as hell, yet people find it a great thing to watch. Productivity can not be defined from one point of view.

10. Why violence such a bad thing? Is it because people can not kill? If that is the problem, talk to me once someone assaults you. See if you can get out of the situation without using violence. Is it immoral to kill another person? Or is it simply because the law binds us from doing so? You may find me weird and think I am a potential serial killer, but what I am saying is a true thing. If someone were to rape your family member in front of you, are you going to just let them go? Of course not, your going to kill the living **** out of them.

11. Of course, my humor is different from yours, so there is no way to actually tell you why it is funny and likable...

I liked it when I was younger, because for a 13 year old boy, cute animals being brutally slaughtered is the funniest thing ever.

Now that I'm older, it just seems like a one-note joke to me. Not really that funny, but you have to keep in mind the target audience.
