Which period in your child's life do you most want to remember?

If you could only remember one 10-year period of your child's life, which period would you pick? Here's a more detailed scenario in case you don't understand the question:

You live a long and happy life, and maintain a good relationship with your child (who is now a happy and successful adult) until you finally pass away peacefully from old age. Then you find yourself in the afterlife! (Yes, in this scenario there's an afterlife.) But the afterlife is a little... weird.

All your memories of your child will be removed. You will remember all the other things that happened during the years since your child was born, but not your child themself. You will have a general sort of knowledge that you did have a child and that when you died they were happy and successful and had a good relationship with you, but nothing more detailed than that.

EXCEPT...You get to choose 1 continuous period of 10 years during your child's life, and you will get to keep all your memories of your child from that period only.

So, which period will you choose to remember? When your child was age 0 - 10? Age 34 - 44? You get to pick any 10 year period. This will be your choice for the rest of eternity in the afterlife (which is actually pretty good, other than this annoying memory problem).

What's your choice?

    Me?

For my son: He doesn't get a ten year period. He gets nine months, from newborn to death. Well. That was easy....

For my daughter: 1-11 probably. Miss out the baby struggles and launch straight into the happy days, without teenage angst either.

For my second son: 1-11 too.

For both my twin sons: 1-11 I guess.

None of my kids are older than 10 yet though!

1-10 because they will get older and start being more mature. Spend time with your child and charish every moments because they will grow up sooner or later and dont do things you'll ever regret later in life.
