Do all anime lover hate sports?

Umm... To me, I don't like sports that much and I like hiding somewhere (Behind bushes and stuff like that) in college watching anime. To be honest I look sporty because I'm quite slim and a bit tall. But I hate, hate, hate sports! I am super non-sporty

That's people my type. There are people who's super sporty but still an anime lover. For example, my best friend Haruka, she's Japanese, a anime lover, came second at cross country. But most of the time she watches anime with me behind the bushes.

But then comes the decent type. They like anime and are okay with sports. I don't have a example for this one but I just know there are people like that. I can't say much about this one.

Did you really just ask this question in the anime and questions section. I only say that because it seems your question or statement is that anime fans are weird not all are as weird as you stated even some celebrities watch anime. Why did you say anime is unrealstic but somehow you mention family guy which contains a genuis baby(1 year old) a sog that talks, drinks, and sleeps with women. Okay anime is just animation some are stupid and some have the best story line. At least back up your reasoning better I have a feeling you saw a person dressed up and thought all anime fans are like that no we are not. I would go into more detailed reasoning but I can tell already I am already blabing about how anime is great to a point I might regret.

As an anime lover myself, I very much disagree with this. I played on the varsity team in tennis all four years of high school and I still play. PE was honestly my favorite class, and I was good at nearly any sport I participated in. Tennis was always my favorite though. I also still go out and play volley ball on a rather regular basis. I have insomnia issues so watching an entire series in a night is not uncommon for me, but just because I enjoy watching anime doesn't mean I don't know the meaning of daylight. And I'm just one example, I have friends who watch as much anime as I do that are in the military or got scholarships to college for sports. While in college, we would do anime marathons with the athletes. So all in all? No, being into anime does not mean that you hate sports.

I'm an avid anime watcher (300 series under my belt) and collector (own about 100 series on DVD + other media/memorabilia) but I also really enjoy playing sport and moving my body. I work out at the gym, and play or have played at some point: Soccer, Basketball, Rugby Union, Jugger (look it up, its an obscure sport) and Airsoft.I am also a fan of Rugby Leauge (NRL), though I dont play/ have not played, I just like to support my home team.

I also love to camp and go hiking. Its not uncommon for me to take a weekend away at my favorite camping spot, which is 20k's from the road and over a mountain range.

Do all sports stars hate anime because it consumes time while sitting for hours? It is true that most otaku sit all day watching anime or reading manga, but call it a hobby or profession. It really depends on the type of person since everyone in different. Otaku enjoy what they do and so do sports fans, so what would make them think twice about doing something that they don't enjoy?

Not all anima lovers hate sports I like anime but I don't hate sports, i love sports i am evolved In sports all year long. I do cross country, Wrestling , track and field and I have done tackle football in the past.

No, I love sports and anime. I play football, soccer, baseball, and tennis! Its just a stereo type. I watch anime when I get a chance and still go outside.

I'm an Anime addict but I also skate and I happen to be a pretty good athlete. I don't like WATCHING sports though. That's just not entertaining in any way.
