Ideas for a recommitment ceremony?
My husband and I want to plan a recommitment ceremony for just the two of us. We've recently had some issues and we want to recommit to each other. The problem is, we're not sure where to start! We live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and would love to do it on the beach. It's not going to be anything big, just me, my husband and maybe a friend or two. I've looked at the local chapels and its all so expensive and that's not what we want. We want something small and quiet. We won't need food or anything like that. Any suggestions for my area? Thanks!

You mentioned the beach, why not find a quiet place on the beach and just have your ceremony there. You may want to do it during a cooler time of the year and close to sunrise or sunset--depending on your preference. After the ceremony, all of you could have dinner at a nice restaurant.

Love should be transparent. For a better life together, you should distinguish the 'oneness' in two. I think, its good if you make it up in your home itself. Clean it, change the things, together. Arrange a party. Order some good food. Invite friends, serve them, show them love, help each other, laugh and all that stuff heals and re-commit the bond called love. A beach would be perfect, if you plan accordingly.

I would choose a notary, and any decorations you can order from dollar tree.com. You could make it really quaint, on a low budjet. I know of a notary here in Florida, Maybe you can do something in St. Augistene, florida. Call Sam's notary, he is a kind soul, and may be able to help, with sugestions.
