Ortho bug b gone possable poisoning, what do i do?

My cat laid in some Ortho Bug B Gone. she licked it off herself and is now slightly drooling. she keeps biting to the side like she is trying to get something out of her teeth. she is breathing good and acting fine other than that. this was over and hr and a half ago. the poison is the pellet form.

she is also nursing kittens so i am afraid to bring her back inside. i am afraid if i let her in and the kittens rush her, then she may poison them.

i called animal poison Control and they would not help me without a credit card. the nearest emergency vet is 2 hrs away. i don't have a license, no money for a cab, and my neighbors are either not home or sleeping and probably wont take me anyway. i need a remedy that will help her til morning and i can take her to my vet around the corner that is within walking distance.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.

Read the label about what it says about what to do if ingested (sometimes drinking water makes the problem worse and sometimes if you dilute it enough it stops it from becoming fatal).

There are ways to induce vomiting to help get it from her system, but I've never heard of a safe way to do it at home like with dogs.

Get a washcloth and try to wash off her side so she doesn't get anymore in her system and try to wipe off her face and tongue/teeth. I would do your best to get a vet or call a 24 hour vet nearby and ask them what to do, some places will give advice over a phone.

I hope she's alright! Don't let her nurse the kittens until the poison it out of her system (may be a day or two) in the meantime, try to get your hands on some kitten formula to feed them by hand.

Since the poison was in pellet form and not powder, she couldn't have gotten too much in her system. But I would watch her closely for any changes; since she's a full grown cat, it would take a bit of poison to kill her based on her size, and perhaps the poison in question isn't particularly harmful to pets? I'd do some quick research about it.

Keep giving her A LOT of fluids and make sure the kittens stay away (you will need to find another way to feed them). Can you call a friend for help? She really needs to go to a vet asap, there's no getting around it. Good luck. I hope your cat will be okay.
