Is the air filter on a 2004 Harley heritage cleaned like a K&N?
I bought a n '04 Heritage Softail. The filter looks like it's made like a K&N. Can I clean it the same way?

The OEM paper air filters on a Harley are usually one of the first things to be replaced with an aftermarket accessory. If it is a red aftermarket filter, then odds are that it IS a K&N.

if it is not paper than yes warm soapy water and lightly oiled with air filter oil when it dries.
