What's a good recipe for tator tot casserole?
Not anything fancy with like cream of onion (does that exist? haha) and stuff like that, just a basic simple recipe.. It's my first time trying to make it. :P

You can use tator tots instead of mashed potatoes for this recipe
Pie: - Fish & Potato Top
(By Dune 18/10/11)
5-6 mashing potatoes
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
¼ cup milk
Fish filling
3 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 onion, finely chopped
¼ cup flour
1½ cups milk
310 g can drained smoked fish fillets
2 cups frozen vegetables
Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut into even-sized pieces. Place in a saucepan and almost cover with cold water. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes or until softened.
Drain the potatoes; add the butter or margarine and milk.
Mash until smooth and creamy.
Sauce
Melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan. Add the onion and sauté on a moderate heat for 3-4 minutes or until the onion has softened.
Turn the heat down to low. Add the flour and mix well over the heat for another minute.
Gradually (this is important!) add the milk, stirring continuously to avoid any lumps.
Add the fish, liquid from the can and vegetables to the white sauce. Mix well to break the fish up a bit. Pour into a baking dish or four individual ramekins.
Top with the mashed potatoes.
Place under the grill for 5-10 minutes or until golden brown.
For tator tots you will need to bake for about 30 minutes at 180C

Try using frozen hash brown patties. You could probably use tater tots in lieu of the patties.
Wake up Casserole
Ingredients
• 8 frozen hash brown patties
• 4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
• 1 pound cubed fully cooked ham
• 7 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ground
Directions
1. Place hash brown patties in a single layer in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and ham.
2. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and mustard. Pour over ham.
3. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover; bake 15 minutes longer or until edges are golden brown and a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Tater tots are garbage food. Try using real potatoes.
